The Tarian free standing post box is a high security vandal resistant box designed to offer unrivalled peace of mind against theft or destruction. Manufactured from 5mm / 0.19685 inch thick steel plate and fully welded, with a drill proof 7 pin cam lock not only does this offer extreme protection, but also makes the Tarian unique as an affordable solution against ID fraud through your mail.
Your post passes through a slot 11.5” x 1.5” / 290 x 40mm and retrieved from a recessed door at the front. Internal dimensions are a very generous 11.5” x 11.5” x 20” / 290 x 290 x 500mm. The box is powder coated inside and out and comes with 2 sets of keys.
The actual box bolts internally to a plate on top of a 4” / 100mm square post which once concreted into the ground stands 4ft / 1220mm from the floor. The overall weight of the two pieces is around 88lb / 40kg.
We would love to compare this product against that of our competitors but currently there is nothing like this on the European market. Not to be confused with the light sheet metal type letterboxes you might find in DIY stores the Tarian is fully welded. NO pop rivets and NO spot welds, NO cheap locks from china and NO hinges made from fencing wire.

As this is new to our range we are keen to get some feedback on this item. We can make changes where possible. A rear door alternative for example or a slam lock in replace of the cam lock.
